Note from the managing director.  

"Over the years I have often designed bits and pieces for fun, sometimes for me or my son sometimes both of us. One time we were sitting in the garden in the summer evenings watching the bats fly around. Having worked with Ultrasound for many years I decided to make a bat sound monitor. Its not very scientific but lots of fun and removes the 'scary' side of them.
